Winter is starting to trail off in Seattle and spring is beginning to show its colors. The sun is rising earlier each day, ice is melting from Northwest hiking trails, and the cherry blossoms at the University of Washington are starting to bloom. Spring is almost officially here in Seattle!
Personally I am starting to feel some of the winter grey associated with Seattle winters melt away, leaving me with a renewed since of productiveness and energy to take on some of the larger projects in my life.
The past few months have been great overall. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a number of meaningful projects with my main client NetHope and I’m enjoying my new urban home in Seattle’s U-District. It’s a different experience living in the neighborhood as a student vs. a working adult but the walkability and sense of variety is a welcome addition to my daily routine.
In the process of working on a more detailed blog post. For now however, below is what I’m up to.
Building a true digital home for #FuzzFood
Using Snapchat weekly
Saving articles in Pocket
Preparing for my fiancé’s Green Card Interview
Searching for additional opportunities – part-time or full-time (NetHope continues to be an amazing experience but my contract and scope of work changed significantly this year, leaving me with more time on my hands and less cash in my pocket. Luckily, I’ve been able to fill that time with extra projects and clients – Setting Up for a Kitchen Brawl)
Snapchat hidden secrets
How to operate my new DSLR camera
Meetings with contacts in my network again
SDOT’s “Where Are We Going?” speaker series
Taking a vacation to Barcelona
Saving money again
