Distracted Driving Awareness Month Media Outreach

Problem
Develop a system to reach out to media outlets throughout Washington state with segments for specific regional markets.

Solution
Put together an email marketing system designed to provide targeted information to key influencers and journalists in Washington State.

Results
Partnering with PathForward Communications a list of over1,000 media and influencers related to driving, government, and policy was created. To further the impact of the outreach conducted the list was further segmented into over 10 different regional markets allowing for the distribution of targeted messages to different markets throughout Washington State. The system powered targeted outreached that resulted in coverage in major local news outlets including the Seattle Times, Q13 Fox, and the Olympian.
